The Evaluation of Bond Strength of Temporary Cements in Cementing Cast Crown to Different Core Build-up Materials Farklı Kor Materyallerine Simante Edilen Döküm Kuronların Tutuculuğunda Geçici Simanların Bağlanma Dirençlerinin İncelenmesi

ÖZET Aim: The purpose of this laboratory investigation was to evaluate the bond strength of temporary cement [(Provicem, Procem (eugenol-free), Tempbond (eugenol)] to commonly used core build-up materials. [Composite resin (President), Compomer (Dyract AP), glass-ionomer cement (Ionofil), resin modified glassionomer cement (Vitremer) (RMGIC)]. Materials and Methods: Sixty specimens were fabricated as a maxillary first premolar core build-up. Full crown castings were made to fit each core specimens and were cemented to core samples with temporary cements. The temporary cements were mixed according to manufacturer’s instructions and full crown casting were cemented to core samples and stored at 37oC and 100% humidity for 30 days. After storage, The bond strength was measured with Haunsfield Tensometer in tensile mode at a cross head speed of 5 mm/min. Results: It was observed that, the cement type affected the bond strength of full crown casting to core materials. The interaction between the cement and core materials was significant (P<0.001). The bond strength of the cemented crowns to Vitremer (Resin modified glass-ionomer) cores significantly increased with Tempbond temporary cement (2.30MPa). Conclusion: In the light of data, it was determined that, the bond strength was greatly reduced when President (composite) core samples were cemented with eugenol containing cement (0.77MPa). Amaç: Bu laboratuar çalışmasının amacı, geçici simanlar [(Provicem, Procem (ojenolsüz), Tempbond (ojenollü)] ile yaygın olarak kullanılan kor materyalleri [komposit resin (President), kompomer(Dyract AP), cam-ionomer siman (Ionofil), resin modifiye cam-ionomer siman(Vitremer)(RMGIC)] arasındaki bağlanma direnci değerlendirmektir. Gereç ve Yöntem: 60 adet kor örnek üst birinci küçük azı formunda hazırlandı. Kor örnekler için ful kuron dökümler elde edildi. Geçici siman materyalleri üretici firma önerileri doğrultusunda hazırlandı kuronlar geçici simanlar ile kor örneklere simante edildi ve %100 nemli ortamda 370C’de 30 gün bekletildi. Bu süre sonunda, bağlantı direnci Hounsfield tensometer cihazı ile 5mm/dak. başlık hızıyla ölçüldü. Bulgular: Siman tipinin, ful kuronların kor materyalleri ile bağlanma direncini etkilediği gözlemlenmiştir ve siman tipi ile kor materyali arasındaki etkileşim önemli bulunmuştur. (P<0.001) Vitremer (Resin modifiye cam-ionomer) kor materyali ile Tempbond geçici simanı kullanıldığında bağlantı direncinin önemli derecede arttığı belirlenmiştir.(2,30MPa).
